Andrés Calamaro en el Ciudad: nuestra enfermedad

El músico tocó ante un Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires colmado con invitados y un repertorio imbatible. Los diez momentos más destacados del concierto.

Como él mismo se encargó de recordar desde el escenario: por cuarto año consecutivo, Andrés Calamaro despidió el año desde el escenario de un Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires sold out (para los que se quedaron afuera, hoy hay revancha en el rico Luna Park). A continuación, diez impresiones de un concierto de lujo:

1- ¿Cómo agregar sorpresas a una lista de temas imbatible y reconocida por todos? Con un recurso práctico en gran parte del show: citas a grandes canciones de la historia del rock. Así fueron pasando la apertura con la stoniana "Jumping Jack Flash", y fragmentos de "Walk Of Life" (Dire Straits), "Walk On The Wild Side" (Lou Reed), "Fiesta cervezal" (Pappo's Blues), "Pica mi caballo" (Miguel Abuelo) y "Stairway To Heaven" (Led Zeppelin) entre lo mejor del repertorio, para también dar cuenta de la melomanía de Andrés.

2- "La mirada del adiós": quizás la canción más conmovedora y menos conocida del Buena suerte de Los Rodríguez. Una fotografía perfecta de una separación de pareja ("Cuando me di vuelta ya no estabas, yo sólo buscaba la mirada del adiós") y un gran rescate emotivo.

3- Otra gema desempolvada: "Por mirarte". Acá la postal es urbana ("Por mirarte cruzar esa avenida...") y la cita a Nebbia / Tanguito (la inmortal "balsa de madera") es puro rock nacional forever and ever.

4- En estas celebraciones de fin de año Andrés siempre eligió estar rodeado de amigos, y esta vez no fue la excepción. Así fueron pasaron un gran Adrián Dárgelos (¡Qué bien que le sentó "Los aviones"!), Fito Páez ("Crímenes perfectos" y "Canal 69"), los ¿ex Bersuit? De Bueyes (para el set tanguero) y Vicentico Fernández Capello ("Tuyo siempre" y "Flaca", esta última también con Dárgelos).

5- El ensamble guitarrero que acompaña a Andrés desde hace unos años suena cada vez más ajustado. Cada uno de los músicos sabe su papel a rajatabla y permiten que Andrés se atreva a improvisar con su voz, para ser más cantante que nunca.

6- El recuerdo a los amigos ausentes en "Los chicos", y la proyección de imágenes de Luca Prodan, Miguel Abuelo, Federico Moura, Pappo, Julián Infante y Guille Martín. A todos, de parte de los 22, hace mucho que los queremos ver.

7- El set tanguero tiene fans y detractores, pero es grato que Andrés persista con este rescate del género. Eso sí: quienes tenemos la gimnasia de ver sus shows ya sabemos que los temas suelen ser "Los mareados" y "Naranjo en flor". Quizás algún cambio allí vendría bien para renovar la dinámica del concierto.

8- "El perro", con melodía "ramonera" y su letra coreada por la multitud ("¡Qué lástima Argentina! Eras un bizcochuelo, ahora sos gelatina"), fue la joya oculta made in Camboya que libró del olvido Andrés. Bravo por eso.

9- "Paloma", el hit creado por la gente, el final épico. Todo dicho mil veces, y esta vez también.

10- "Si no estuviéramos acá, estaríamos en casa pidiendo empanadas o viendo Dr. House". "Que linda noche para desearle la pena de muerte a todos los represores de la ESMA y que se haga efectiva en 48 horas". "Sí, dije pena de muerte". "Adrián Dárgelos: la inteligencia superior". "Cuando seamos viejos y nadie nos quiera más, me voy a ir a vivir con Vicentico: tenía que decirlo". La lengua popular dixit, o la habitual verborragia escénica de Andrés.
